If you could buy T-shirts of good quality with your favourite brand on, would you buy one?

If they're of good quality, yes!

Why? Are you thinking of making some Adam? ..

It's just a little seed in the back in my mind at the moment arthur. I was thinking along the lines of a choice of good quality clothing T shirts, I tend to prefer round neck, but others may prefer low neck or buttons, long sleeve short sleeves etc, but I like them to be cotton with the logo embroiled, so that after a was or two the logo doesn't fade.

Initially it will be brands I distribute as I know them and will be easier to get permission, I don't think I can just go out and start making T-shirts with the Rega, B&W, Naim logo on without getting sued or asking permission as I'm sure you'd need some kind of logo copyright permission.

I could provide shirts for shows to look more professional or just for general wear, many times when you go to a show you just see the name of the company on a plastic holder tied around the neck.

So you have two possible markets, the enthusiast and the show attendees.

As I say it's just a thought at the moment and wondered if there would be much of a demand or need.

Cyrus did branded jackets and directors chairs amongst other things many, many years ago but when I looked recently for Cyrus merchandise there was nowt. Am sure Linn did t-shirts and stuff as well. It's a good idea Adam, especially if you can get Naim/Cyrus/Rega etc on board.

Can't see much objection from manufacturers Adam, after all, they'll be getting plenty of free exposure.

The only ones that might not like it, would be the ones that already have on offer similar merchandise for sale.

As far as I know, in my case, neither Bryston or Conrad - Johnson make such products available for their fans.

Still though, not a bad idea to ask, to be on the safe side.

I see Naim still do stu, but I don't see much merchandise for other brands, maybe I could do more than just t-shirts, early thoughts yet.

I don't know neither arthur that's why just to start i'll stick to the safe side and start with the brands I work with and see what kind of interest there is, I mean audio companies ain't exactly football teams or pop stars are they pirat

Question

ah.. Yes, why not 'sceptic'?

Given what some people choose to have on their T shirts, good old innocent High Fidelity slogans would be rather acceptable IMHO.

Come to think of it, many years ago when I bought a pair of Infinity floorstanders, a rather nice polo with the Infinity insignia came with the purchase.

It helped generate conversation about audio systems and the like!

The only audio manufacture I can think of that had any type of clothing was Technics, who are the biggest audio manufacturer today? Probably BOSE. Do they have any type of clothing? Would there really be much of a demand for them, the market is it bit limited don't you think?

The market is probably best managed by individual manufacturers who have direct contact with a loyal customer base such as :- http://www.tubesrule.com/category_s/30.htm
