 Zu speakers

What do you think of these speakers? they are quite highly spoken of in audiophile circles, the design behind them looks curios I've always quite fancied hearing them as they do seem to be reviewed favourably in the US but what about this side of the pond are they as highly regarded?



The tweeter looks like a horn, they do look different don't they.

They are speakers for audiophiles. They probably aren't quite this bad these days:

but they are not intended for people that want accurate speakers in a technical sense.

A few years ago I stood next to a chap enthusing over a large speaker with a single driver (not a Zu) and was completely baffled. Usually when audiophiles praise inaccurate hardware like SET amplifiers one can hear why but I could hear nothing attractive in this case.
