just borrowed one of these, with my current cd player and dac im finding everything hard edged....almost too revealing? this machine is very smooth sounding and is surprisingly good!have cd players got worse since the late 8os? instead of my current cd and dac describing the music! this old mission [with its beautiful blue screen] is just musical...i was playing stevie wonders jesus children of america.and the mission made the track sound funky..and im sure with classical music the sound of cellos, oboes, etc are more lifelike? how is this so..am i deluded?
