Ali Campbell will always be the voice of UB40, even though the band seem to be going through some great troubles at present, Ali chose to go down the solo route, I found a lot of the later UB40 material to be sounding rather dull and boring and monotonous over the last decade.
Happily for Ali with this album I can report it's a cracker, it's not new but it still sound pretty damn good, ali is back to his best, he sounds happy, the sounds are good catchy and a joy to listen to, a really good reggae sound to this one, its what Ub40 should have been and shows what they are missing.
1. Nothing ever changes (Pierrot)
2. Out From under
3. Everways
4. She's a lady
5. That's supposed to hurt
6. What you gonna do bout it
7. Visions
8. My heart is gone
9. Don't shoot the messenger
10. It's a crime
11. Flying high
12. My happiness
There not a duffer amongst this little little, well dome ali, a very mature and slick sounding album.
