asking price will be £480 which is a bit of a hike over the out going Brio

Now where did you get that photo? Looks a lot like a snip of the Rega flyer distributed to trade just recently.

And your information is correct so you must have a trade contact who has been very naughty in providing this before launch.

have a word with deco audio then, it on their blog,
or Rega, as it is on the opening page of the web site.



given the price and remote, is the the brio/mira replacement, or is the mira going to come back at £900 to fill the gape tween brio and elicit?

The information 'looked' to be in the public domain from a dealers website, Deco as colin must have seen it too.

Anyway, free publicity never did any one any harm.

£480 looks OK price wise to me, can you really build much of an amp for less these days apart from class T?

My mistake then. I was under the impression this was still under wraps.

The Brio-R looks very exciting. £480 for a specialist 50wpc amplifier is pretty good, even at half width - and it has a built-in phono stage too, which has been reworked. The output transistors are the 150w Sanken Darlingtons which are very nice indeed, and they've gone to great lengths to keep the signal path as pure as possible.
