I received a message from 'Stu' letting me know about his decision to call it a day, but I wasn't aware about the others.
Like Frank, I can't find anything specific that caused this exodus. Is it possible for one (or more) of the dissatisfied members to point me in the right direction as, I feel, I must have missed something along the way.
Obviously, as a moderator I feel inadequate that I haven't picked up the ill feeling earlier so, some mediation could be done.
This said, I must agree with Adam's view and advice in that, you respond to the ones you see 'eye to eye' with and ignore the few that annoy you, unless of course, there's personal attacks which brake the forum rules and would be dealt by the admin / moderators.
It's always sad to see good people getting upset and leave and because I have seen this happen before ( in the HFC forum), I certainly hope and wish you 'guys' (generic term including females), would reconsider and continue contributing here often.
... and since we're on this subject, does anyone know what has happened to JSB? He hasn't posted for quite a while now and even though I messaged him a few weeks ago, had no response at all! Health issues perhaps?
