He just keeps on doing stupid things like this. I reckon he deserves all he gets. He may have made some decent recordings, but he's a bit of a weirdo. Anyone who drives whilst under the influence is a ....., IMO.
If he was just an unknown drug taking, toilet haunting gay, many would be saying that the pervert should be locked up for life.

I agree that he is absolutley wrong to be driving while under the influence.
Him being a repeat offender shows that custodial is justified as it seems the last time didn't give him the wake up call he needed.

However his sexuality and what he has/has not got up to in toilets or anywhere else is IMO totally irrelevant. And so long as consenting adults, nothing to do with any of us nor our judgement on whether he should be locked up.

I hope this works and he does get help when he gets back out. Although not a fan of his work myself, I am sure that if he gets sorted, he would still be able to fill stadiums.

I was never keen on wham, nor on his solo career, that was until I saw him in concert, even then he was 2 hours late because allegedly he was stoned, but can the man sing, he has what I call talent, so he has only himself to blame, I now like some of his music, like the LP 'older'

But I do object strongly to him putting other people life at risk by driving a car under the influence, this is totally unacceptable and he got we he deserves.

On a little note, I was driving behind a guy this morning riding a motor bike, and he was actually driving along reading messages of his mobile phone, people like him should get of our roads now and let people who know how to drive and concentrate and don't play Russian roulette with other people lifes ( like Goerge) get them off the road, he is a lucky man to get what he did by hitting a empty shop, what if it was a child? How would he feel with blood on his hands?

l forget the figures but when you compare the statistics of deaths from wars and deaths involving cars over the last 60 years....the car has been a massive killer and until recently no one appeared concerned with the legal situation whereby drivers could get away with murder-cars change people so much i think and make some so aggressive-forms of behaviour they would never adopt walking along the street.

The fact that he's a pop star should make no difference, legally speaking. A pop star will kill you or me just as dead as if he were a complete unknown.

Two days ago, my wife's senior colleague, 42, mother of two fine girls, was driving to work. Thankfully, she was in her SUV, a Kia Sportage. Two streets before the end, she was literally rammed by a taxi which instead of slowing down for the yellow traffic light, sped up and passed it when it was red. The impact force was such that the SUV was turned on its side. Thankfully, the whole battery of air bags went into action, so despite significant damage to the car, the woman escaped with two bruises only. She says the taxi driver seemed to be under either dope, or severe medication, and being a pharmacologist, she should know about severe medication.

So what does the cabbie do? He starts wailing that his car, appearently a total loss, was his means of making his livelyhood! Not a thought about the woman he crashed into. And knowing local courts, that wail will carry him a long way, which is why there are unduly many car accidents in Serbia. The courts are far too easy on the culprits, they take into account that if he goes to jail, there will be nobody to feed his family, etc, whereas that woman was in a SUV, which is a sort of a status symbol, .... So I expect the cabbie to be back on the street, stoned and/or medicated, almost instantly, I expect he will get a suspended sentence ...

And the local cretin politicians talk of joining the EU ...
