I'm in a position to upgrade my phono stage, my spend is about the 1K or 1300euros, what phono stage should I consider, my cart is a Benz.

I would try and here the whest two, Quad, Dynavector P75 (£500 ish but very very good,) and a bit over budget, the Rega los. You could also have a listen to the Graham slee range Reflex m plus elevator, or reflex C. In either case with the PSU1 power supply,

The DV P-75 is very good, so is the Sonneteer sedly, but at about £850 I think it is, is the AstinTrew AT8000, this a real beauty, a very high quality sound that is adjustable to many carts.


Ear is also worth looking, really I think the list is endless at the £1000 price point and where you you really will start to get serious sounds, a big step over the 300-400euro price bracket.
